McBride Links

MCBRIDE ALUMNI CLUB
This is the website of the All Alumni club.  In addition to history and information about McBride, all class lists and yearbooks, it also lists upcoming events for all alumni.

MCBRIDE ALUMNI MERCHANDISE
This is a commercial site that sells high school alumni t-shirts and sweatshirts.  They also provide an all-alumni type of site for high schools.  You will see that it does have a number of people from other classes who have signed up.  Overall there is not a lot of content within the site if you sign-up.

YouTube Video Memories
The following are some links that will take you back to the 50's, 60's and 70's courtesy of some YouTube videos.  I hope this brings back some great memories.

LOST TABLES
Restaurants hold a special place in our lives. We cherish memories of the hangout we went to in high school, the posh eatery we dined at on special occasions and that place we kept returning to when it had been too long.

We've lost many of the St. Louis restaurants once special to us. But they remain part of our collective culinary memory as we look back fondly at these lost St. Louis tables.

GENEALOGY IN ST. LOUIS
This is not specifically a "McBride" site, but it does have a lot of information about St. Louis.  A great trip down memory lane.  Be sure to visit the section titled "St. Louis Memories."  Trust me, it will bring back a lot of old memories.  Enjoy.

KXOK
For all of you Micks that remember KXOK Radio Park, across the street from Sherman Park, this is the place to go.  It contains information and history of the radio station.  Also the DJ's are older than we are, so we still look young.  Be sure to check the "Sing Along Surveys."

Click here to go to the KXOK Facebook page for more on the radio station of the 60's.

St. Louis Music History
The following is a link to all of the bands from the 60's.  Some of them played at our McBride dances.  Enjoy the memories.

1960's Website
This link will take you to the Official 60's website.  Take another trip down memory lane.   Be sure to check out the Chicken Man radio spots.  Not well organized but lots of information.
